A total of 35 returned for Day 3 of the WPT Choctaw Main Event, and when the last chance saloon had closed for business, it was none other than Viet Vo finishing as the chipleader, with a 9,750,000 stack.

Vo is no stranger to WPT final tables, having three official ones under his belt, but has yet to etch his name on the trophy with a runner-up finish being his best result thus far. He is in the pole position to beat that feat but will have to make it through some stiff competition to take down this event.

One player, in particular, is Albert Calderon who is second on the totem pole by the end of Day 3 with 8,425,000. Calderon is sitting down for his second-ever WPT main event final table, with one thing is in common with the last and that is the fact that Vo is right there with him.

Vo was seated right beside Calderon in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown final table, where Calderon busted in 5th and Vo in 3rd. Both will be looking to improve on those numbers tomorrow on the final day.

The official final table for the WPT Choctaw Main Event is set. Here are the seats and official counts.

Seat 1. Albert Calderon – 8,425,000 (84 bb)
Seat 2. Hunter Cichy – 4,200,000 (42 bb)
Seat 3. Will Nguyen – 6,225,000 (62 bb)
Seat 4. Dapo Ajayi – 8,075,000 (81 bb)
Seat 5. Michael Perrone – 2,225,000 (22 bb)
Seat 6. Viet Vo – 9,750,000 (98 bb)

Another player to have found some success in the World Poker Tour is Dapo Ajayi who will break over a million in career earnings with this cash, with his biggest score to date coming in back in 2019 during the WPT Montreal Main Event where he finished runner up for $254,966. Earlier in that year, Ajayi took home his first six-figure cash, coming in none other than Choctaw where he finished runner-up as well. Look for him to have some added motivation tomorrow as he pushes for a new career-best.

There are different levels of success between Will Nguyen, Hunter Cichy, and Michael Perrone, who make up the final table, but all will all be sharing their first WPT Main Event final table experience together. All in hopes of being the last man standing tomorrow, claiming the hefty $588,610 first-place prize and all the glory that comes along with being a WPT champion.

All players are now guaranteed at least $118,090 and here is what they are playing for beyond that.

1st: $558,610
2nd: $372,415
3rd: $275,085
4th: $205,330
5th: $154,885
6th: $118,090

The six-handed WPT Final Table begins tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12:00 pm in the Choctaw Event Center, resuming on Level 27 with 17:46 left in the level and play will not halt until a champion is crowned. Unfortunately, there will be no live stream, but there will be hand-for-hand updates right here on WPT.com, so stay tuned as the action unfolds.
