Welcome Back Elizabeth Tedder

Last week Elizabeth Tedder finished ninth in the WPTDeepStacks Marrakech Main Event (pictured above), and has surprised everyone by showing up at the next stop here in Valkenburg.

Tedder, who is from Oregon, took home 108,100 Moroccan Dirham ($11,378) for her ninth place and says that having not booked a flight home, she couldn’t resist coming to another stop.

“My friends all saw the pictures from Marrakech and they said how fun it looked.

“So I looked and saw there was this stop in Valkenburg. I hadn’t booked a flight home, and I would have had to come back to Europe for a flight anyway. I’ve still got a bunch of Euros to spend so WPTDeepStacks Netherlands was a great fit.”
