Welcome to Day 2 of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship

At 12 PM EST, 765 survivors will make their way back to the tables to continue to battle it out for Day 2 of the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Championship.

A total of 2,290 entry slips were sold for this tournament, creating a total prize pool of $7,328,000 more than double the $3 million guarantee. The winner will take home $1,128,250 which includes a seat in the WPT World Championship.

Leading the way heading into this second day is Day 1B Chip Leader Akash Seth with an impressive stack of 730,500. He is followed by Luke Brereton with 628,500 and Joel Weisberger rounds up the top three with 600,500.

Some other big names at the top of the counts include Anthony Spinella (473,000), Nick Palma (456,000), Brandon Wilson (411,500) and Jeffrey Madsen (406,500).

Action will resume at Level 11 with blinds of 1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 big blind ante and the plan is to play ten 60-minute levels with a 90-minute dinner break after Level 16.
