Exit Interview with William Vo

On a mistake he thought he made: “I had pocket nines, and I should have moved all in on the flop. I had a set, but at the same time there was king-queen-nine, and he flopped a straight. That’s where I lost my chips, so I had to take a chance with pocket fives.”

On his overall tournament performance: “I feel happy with my play. I enjoyed it.”

On playing with Mike Sexton: “Oh he’s wonderful [smiles], I’m happy about that. Every day when I see him on the TV, doing the commentating, I dreamed some day I will play with him! And it happened, and he remembered me. The first time I beat him I never said ‘I love myself.’ I said no celebration, only for him.”

On playing more WPT events this season: “Oh yeah, I’m going to Bay 101, maybe to win [laughs].”
