WPT Asia-Pacific Player of the Year Race

The WPT Asia-Pacific Player of the Year is underway for Season 18, and the top three points-earners at the end of the season will win WPT Passports ranging from $1,500 to $10,000. For more details on the prizes and a look at the upcoming Asia Pacific WPT schedule, click here.

Last season, Vincent Chauve won the title on the strength of his victory in WPT Vietnam, where he outlasted a field of 686 to win more than VND 2.7 billion (~US $120,000).

After the first three Asia-Pacific events of the season, Hamish Crawshaw is the current POY points leader with 1,500. But that lead isn’t safe, as we expect the winner of this event to earn the same amount. Crawshaw played Day 1A here at WPT Australia, and he bagged 54,100 for Day 2 as he tries to increase his POY points total.
