WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast Starts May 27!

The World Poker Tour and WPTDeepStacks are back at The Star Gold Coast in beautiful Australia for WPTDeepStacks Gold Coast! The festival starts on May 21 and the WPTDeepStacks Main Event kicks off on May 27. Players of all bankrolls can find a tournament for their liking with buy-ins ranging from $330-$5,000.

The AUD $1,500 WPTDS Main Event features three starting flights and a winner will be crowned on May 31.

The Star Gold Coast’s state-of-the-art poker space boasts eight permanent tables and 16 tournament tables, all featuring bespoke technology that allows players to register for cash games via SMS.

Additional events on the schedule feature the $750 Opener from 21 May, the $2,000 single-day event on 23 May, and the two-day $5,000 High Roller from 30 – 31 May, while seven side events will have buy-ins ranging from $330 – $750.

WPT first traveled to The Star Gold Coast in October 2019 for the inaugural WPT Australia event. Hari Varma won the AUD $2,500 event for AUD $185,693 versus 658 entries.
