Darrel Dier Wins WPTDeepStacks NorCal Main Event

Darrel Dier topped a field of 216 players to win the WPTDeepStacks NorCal Main Event on Monday night at the Win-River Resort and Casino in Redding, California. Dier was awarded $48,598 in prize money, $3,000 Championship package, and the WPTDeepStacks trophy after winning a final table that clocked in at seven hours of play today. The final match didn’t last too long either, as Dier topped Russell Garrett in less than an hour to decide the final battle in the tournament. Congratulations to our new champion – Darrel Dier!

In addition to the final-table contestants, two WPTDeepStacks Player of the Year contenders also cashed in the event. WPTDS Ambassador Tristan Wade cashed in 23rd place, good for $1,941; and Rex Clinkscales finished in 15th place, good for $2,912.
