Seeing thousands and thousands of hands on his cell phone seems to have worked for Hugh Grant (pictured). After running deep in the  Zynga Poker WPT500 Las Vegas the last two years at ARIA, Grant now has a Main Tour cash on his record as well. He returned with about 227,000 in chips at the beginning of Day 3, putting him right in the middle of the chip counts.

A Zynga Poker brand ambassador for a few events this season, adding a Main Tour cash is a big step and he’s now hoping for a final table appearance. He’s one of the top Zynga Poker players in the world and would like to see his sponsorship arrangement continue.

“That’s the goal,” he told WPT.com earlier in the series. “A lot of things I believe should be performance-based and that’s kind of our conversation. I want to have strong showings and be representing the brand well.”

In 2018, Grant finished eighth for $26,310 at the Zynga WPT500 event at Aria and followed that up in 2019 with an 11th-place finish for $11,500. He now has a big opportunity to greatly eclipse those totals on the Main Tour.
