Over the past couple of decades, the LA Poker Classic at Commerce Casino has grown into one of poker’s biggest events. Players from around the world flock to the City of Angels in hopes of running well and scoring big. Now celebrating its phenomenal twentieth edition, the LAPC prominently stands as a must-attend series on every poker professional’s calendar.

Those making the journey have come to expect an impeccable event schedule, dynamic tournament structures and top-notch action. Once again, WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage takes the helm to oversee the competition and drama of this very special stop on the World Poker Tour.

Through the years, the renowned WPT LA Poker Classic Main Event has attracted the game’s best players and most famous names, and for our historic tenth season we expect one incredible tournament. Of the nine past WPT LAPC Champions, five are multiple WPT winners — Gus Hansen, Michael Mizrachi, Alan Goehring, Cornel Cimpan and Antonio Esfandiari. In addition, Phil Ivey captured his only WPT title here at Commerce.
