Hosted by Bill Perkins, the $100,000 buy-in WPT Alpha8 St. Kitts kicks off on December 5 at Royal Beach Casino and Christophe Harbour. Among the confirmed players are:

  • Jeff Gross (Season I WPT Alpha8 Florida third-place finisher)

Registration and unlimited reentries are open for the first six levels. Prior to heads-up play, all levels will be 60 minutes and then 30 minutes when only two players remain. Day 1 will be 10 levels and play will resume at noon on Sunday, where a winner will be crowned.

Players are also welcomed to attend a cocktail reception at 7:30 p.m. on December 4 at Royal Beach Casino.

Philipp Gruissem took down the inaugural WPT Alpha8 St. Kitts, outlasting 28 entrants to pocket $1,086,000. The German defeated Brit Tom Macdonald – who earned $679,000 – heads up, winning his second consecutive WPT Alpha8 title.
