Poker’s premier mid-major tournament circuit is arriving in Belgium for the first time ever for the WPTDeepStacks Brussels festivals that runs November 6-12, 2017. Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE, known for its stunning architecture and record-breaking WPT field every year, will play host to the WPTDeepStacks Brussels series that features events ranging in buy-ins from €250 to €2,200. Anchoring the schedule is the WPTDeepStacks Brussels €1,200 Main Event taking place November 9-12.

The WPTDeepStacks Brussels Main Event comes with a player-friendly structure at an affordable price point that suits both professional and recreational players alike. Players begin with 30,000 in tournament chips and there are three starting flights. The first two starting flights have 40-minute levels, and the third is a “Fast Chance” format with 20-minute levels. Starting with Day 2 of the WPTDeepStacks Brussels €1,200 Main Event, level times are increased to 60 minutes.

WPTDeepStacks has been going strong throughout the European region in 2017, crowning five main event champions ahead of WPTDeepStacks Brussels. In addition to the lion’s share of the prize pool, each player to win a European WPTDeepStacks event earns a package to compete in the WPTDeepStacks Berlin Main event to be held in Berlin, Germany, in January 2018.

Leading up to the event, Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE is holding €100 live satellites to the WPTDeepStacks Brussels Main Event every Monday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. local time. The host venue has also made it possible to purchase tickets online to any of the events that are part of the WPTDeepStacks Brussels festival.

WPTDeepStacks Brussels Player of the Series Award

Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE and WPTDeepStacks have partnered to offer a special WPTDeepStacks Brussels Player of the Series award. The winner will receive a dinner for two at the venue, special goodies from Grand Casino Brussels VIAGE, and the competition’s trophy.

Players will accumulate points throughout the entire festival as outlined in the graphic below.

So far, Lakhdari has accumulated 1,100 points, but a number of challengers are within striking distance.
