WPT travels to Kazakhstan for the 20 event poker festival with a huge $500,000 guaranteed at the Cash Ville Casino & Poker Club. The first ever WPT in Central Asia is set to visit the poker hotspot outside the Kazakh capital of Astana May 22 – June 1.
The introduction of the new WPT National Tour stop will see the Eurasian Poker Tour join forces with the WPT National Tour. The EAPT has had two previous stops with over 400 total entries and world-class players including David “Chino” Rheem, Kelly Kim, Alexey Kovalchuk, Alexander Kravchenko, Vladimir Troyanovskiy, Alexander Dovzhenko, Andrey Pateychuk and Dmitriy Vitkind. Back-to-back WPT champion and Team partypoker pro Marvin Rettenmaier took down the inaugural EAPT title in Kiev in September last year winning over $70,000.
