This past Sunday saw the first two events of the 888Poker presents WPTDeepStacks London Online, with a $200,000 prizepool for Event #1 ($525 Opening) and a $50,000 prizepool for Event #2 ($55 Mini Opening).
Looking ahead, Event #3 ($215 PKO with a $75K Guarantee) and Event #4 ($55 Mini PKO with a $30K Guarantee) take place this evening (Tuesday), with Event #5 ($440 Marathon with a $75K Guarantee) and Event #6 ($109 Half Marathon with a $40K Guarantee) following on Thursday.

Korpisoturi2 Wins Event #1, the $525 Opening
Event #1 attracted a field of 293 players (and 66 rebuys) to take their shot at the $200,000 prizepool. The final 48 players finished in the money, and on Sunday they played down to the final nine.
On Monday night the final tablists returned to play down to a winner, and Korpisoturi2 was the last player standing to win the top prize of $40,540. Here are all nine final tablists with their payouts:

Event #2 saw a field of 758 players (who made 228 rebuys) battle over the prizepool of $50,000. The final 144 players finished in the money, and for this event, they played all the way to a winner on Sunday night.
At the end of the night, it was Blahaj who claimed the top prize, earning $7,740 — that’s a pretty great score for just a $55 buy-in!

Tuesday is the day for PKO tournaments — Progressive Knockouts.
These are bounty tournaments with a twist — as you collect bounties by knocking out players, your own bounty increases. Each time you eliminate a player, you earn half of their bounty, while the other half is added to your own bounty, making you a more enticing target for your opponents. It’s a really fun variant where one knockout of the right player can earn you more than a min-cash.
There are two events in this format, at buy-ins of $215 and $55, and they are both one-day tournaments:
