The 16-hour, super-high-roller poker marathon kicks off at 11 a.m. ET with WPT Alpha8 Florida and concludes at 3 a.m. after the final episode of WPT Alpha8 Johannesburg. Fans can expect elite level high-stakes action from some of the best players in the world, captivating lifestyle features hosted by WPT anchor Lynn Gilmartin, and world-class commentary from play-by-play announcer Ali Nejad and top professional Olivier Busquet.
With buy-ins starting at $100,000 per event, WPT Alpha8 features some of poker’s top professional players competing alongside the world’s wealthiest amateur enthusiasts for multi-million prize pools at some of the most incredible gaming destinations around the globe. In Season I, WPT Alpha8 hosted events at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Palm Beach Casino in London, England, Royal Beach Casino and Christopher Harbour in St. Kitts, and Emperors Palace Hotel Casino in Johannesburg, South Africa.
