Las Vegas, NV (May 25, 2023) – Bin Weng conquers the Season XXI installment of WPT® Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown to his first World Poker Tour® title and a seven-figure payday of $1,128,250.

“(Winning a WPT title) was one of my main goals, when I started to play poker (full time) back in 2019,” Weng said. “It means a lot to me, definitely.”

The $3,500 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown attracted a massive field of 2,290 entries, the second largest in its history. The field brought in a prize pool of $7,328,000, which paid out the top 287 finishers.

“It is always incredible to witness the vast turnout that WPT Seminole events can bring,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “Thank you to all the participants, and a big congratulations to Bin for his victory as his name will be added to the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.”

Sri Sanganngari finished as the runner-up, winning $745,000. He was preceded by Mitch Garshofsky (3rd place – $550,000), David Mzareulov (4th place – $413,000), Jack Thu (5th place – $312,000) and Rafael Farah (6th place – $238,000).
