I wanted to put some thoughts together on the best ways to win your way into the WPT World Online Championships on partypoker, so I’ve got five tips to help you navigate the satellites into the series.
I think partypoker has done a good job of creating different avenues into the major WOC events while allowing players of differing skill levels and bankrolls to have a clear path to winning seats. Online satellites are best used as tools for finding value, and bankroll management. Satellites typically come with guarantees and tend to miss those more than normal tournaments, plus sometimes there’s added value because the sites are invested in creating big prize pools for the major event. And for players still building their bankroll online, satellites offer a potential parlay with more upside than a nightly tournament, while maintaining comfortable bankroll management.
