Global Poker Index Team Italy champions returned home for a victorious celebration ceremony at the world’s oldest casino in Venice. Dario San Martino, Andrea Dato and Rocco Palumbo were met to rapturous applause as they entered the tournament floor of WPT National Venice. Dato and Palumbo make an extra special return to Casino Di Venezia as they are not only Team Italy winners but also WPT Champions crowned right here at this very place in Season X and XII.

The three players welcomed special gifts from Casino Di Venezia for their achievement of a Murano glass chip protector and an exclusive watch.

Two lucky winners were awarded with signed Team Italy World Champion shirts. All WPT National Venice players were invited to take part in the Team Italy selfie challenge involving tweeting a picture with any Team Italy champion using #WPTNVenice.
