220 players, including re-entries, entered partypoker WPT Vienna which created a total prize pool of €660,000. The prize money was then paid to 27 players. WPT Champions Club Member trying to grab another trophy in the Main Event were Thomas Bichon, Vladimir Bozinovic, Alexander Lakhov and Julian Thomas.

After 5 thrilling days of poker action it took just 81 hands to get from six to a winner in the 2015 partypoker World Poker Tour Vienna Main Event. Nanos dominated the heads-up battle by winning most of the hands, and even though Krastev doubled up once it only took him 30 hands to seal the deal.

Krastev eliminated all but one player at the final table, and that player was Konstantinos Nanos, the winner of this event! Krastev played an incredible five days of poker but in the end he had to admit defeat as Nanos took home the $157,447 first-place prize and a WPT Championship ticket.

Hand #81: Vladimir Krastev raised it up to 125,000 and Konstantinos Nanos made the call from the big blind. The flop came 7 9 Q and Nanos checked to Krastev. The Austrian responded with a continuation bet of 125,000. Nanos thought for a bit before shoving all in. Krastev instantly called. Konstantinos Nanos: J 10 and Vladimir Krastev: A Q . Nanos had a straight draw and the 8 on the turn sealed it, the partypoker World Poker Tour Vienna Main Event had its champion! Both players didn’t really seem to realize it just yet though, still staring at the board awaiting the river card. The 8 made it official; Krastev finished runner up and the title went to Nanos! Krastev received €103,000 while Nanos took home the €150,000 first place prize and the WPT World Championship ticket worth $15,400.
