Day 3 at the partypoker WPT Montreal Main Event played just as fast if not faster than Day 2 — considering the fact that levels increased to 90 minutes in length today. The field was trimmed from the 59 that returned down to the final 18 in just six hours, and those survivors will return tomorrow to see which six can advance to the televised final table.

The chip leader after Day 3 is Sylvain Siebert (pictured above), who had quite the hot streak during the late afternoon and evening. He eliminated multiple players to accumulate the top stack in play. He holds 2,947,000 for the start of Day 4. Other top stacks include Derrick Rosenbarger (2,875,000), Alexandre Lavigne (2,197,000), Antoine Berube (2,156,000), and Marco Cannizzaro (also with 2,156,000).
