Day 3 of the WPT World Championship presented by partypoker and BorgataPoker began with 68 players, but only 27 of them would finish in the money. The Money Bubble burst in the final level of the day, and action finished with 23 players.

Asher Conniff leads the way into Day 4 with 1,275,000. He is followed by Ray Qartomy (1,176,000), and defending WPT World Champion Keven Stammen (pictured above) who has 915,000.

Stammen isn’t the only player in the field who has a victory in this event. Carlos Mortensen won the WPT World Championship in 2007, outlasting a field of 639 to win more than $3.97 million. Mortensen is still in the field with 459,000.
