The poker community and the general public are invited to attend an upcoming celebration of the life and accomplishments of The Godfather of Poker, Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson.
Brunson, a 10-time WSOP bracelet winner, World Poker Tour Champion, and member of the Poker Hall of Fame left an immeasurable impression on the game of poker. His achievements as a cash game savant, a tournament champion, as well as his insight into how the game is played through his books “Super/System” and “Super/System II” will all be celebrated in the Jubilee Theater at Horseshoe Las Vegas at noon on Sunday, July 2, just one day ahead of the start of the 2023 WSOP Main Event.

Organized by Brunson’s management company, Poker Royalty LLC in conjunction with the WSOP, World Poker Tour, and PokerGO, the event plans to bring together some of Brunson’s closest friends and family to share their memories and stories of from Brunson’s life and extensive poker career. Speakers to be featured include Jack Binion, Lyle Berman, Dewey Tomko Billy Baxter, Eric Drache, Phil Hellmuth, and Daniel Negreanu.
The event is free and open to the public starting at 11:30 am with seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
