Day 1B has come to a close at the WPT Rolling Thunder $3,500 Main Event and 83 players have advanced from the field of 198 that entered on Sunday. The total field size is 379 entries and 152 will return on Monday. Only 45 will make the money and up top is a first-place prize of $266,857, which includes a seat to the WPT World Championship.

The Day 1B and overall chipleader is Ari Engel (pictured) with 240,900. Others who bagged stacks today include Sang Tran (190,400), Jesse Rockowitz (137,800), Champions Club member Aaron Mermelstein (120,000), Season XII WPT Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja (107,400), Champions Club member Dylan Wilkerson (100,200), Jeff Madsen (99,100), Ryan Riess (87,400), Faraz Jaka (80,100), and BLUFF.com Ones to Watch Justin Zaki (68,000) and Candace Collins (46,500).

Notables that didn’t advance today include Champions Club members Mohsin Charania, Keven Stammen, Kevin Eyster, Chino Rheem, Matt Salsberg, and defending WPT Rolling Thunder champion JC Tran.
