The final table of WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star has become a tale of two styles, even though it’s every man for himself. One on hand there’s the two amateurs – Moon Kim and Ubaid Habib – and on the other hand there’s the two accomplished poker pros – Joe Serock and Erik Cajelais. Contrary to conventional wisdom, the two poker pros are the bottom two in chip counts as this event continues toward its inevitable end. On top of that, there’s not a single Shooting Star left in this event for the first time in nine years.

While all of this may be true, the quality of play at the final table does not disappoint, even though the amateurs do have a couple of, well, amateur moments. Here are the chip counts as they will stand when the next episode kicks off:

1. Moon Kim – 5,760,000
2. Ubaid Habib – 2,315,000
3. Joe Serock – 1,740,000
4. Erik Cajelais – 1,105,000

Away from the action, a new The Raw Deal with Tony Dunst segment tackles the mental aspect of poker with a focus on Joe Serock’s table demeanor and his calm and well-thought out play at this final table and Marianela talks to WPT Champion Joe Hachem for a new Five Questions.

There’s plenty for everyone, so make sure to tune in to, or set your DVR for, FSN at 8pm and 11pm on Sunday night to see if the amateurs can hold on and walk away with the WPT Champions Cup.
