The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here. The culmination of WPT Season X airs Sunday night on FSN at 8pm and 11pm local time with WPT World Championship – Part 1. Along with all of the Season X WPT Champions who won the $25,000 buy-in to WPT World Championship as part of their first-place prize, this prestigious event at the Bellagio in Las Vegas will also draw some of the biggest names in poker along with those looking to put their names in the history books for the first time.
A total of 220 entries were collected at the Season IX WPT World Championship, which generated a staggering $5,309,500 prizepool. Eventual WPT Champion Scott Seiver walked away with $1,618,344 at the distinction of being named WPT Season IX Champion. This year’s event will see another prestigious and tough field and another stacked an entertaining final table. It’ll be great television so make sure to tune in or set your DVR.
