When the last episode of WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicked off last night at 8pm and 11pm on FSN, there were three players remaining at the final table of that event, chip leader John Dolan, Joe Serock and the short stack Tommy Vedes. After the dust settled and those three talented players had battled it out over the felt, it was the short stack Tommy Vedes who had managed to climb his way to the top of the chip counts and hoist the WPT Champions Cup for the second time in his successful career.

The below video shows the hand that was the turning point for Vedes in his heads-up match against runner-up Joh Dolan:

The $779,520 Vedes won for his effort is his second-largest cash to date, the largest coming the first time his name was engraved on the WPT Champions Cup at WPT Festa al Lago back in 2009. This is also his second WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown final table, finishing sixth here in Hollywood, Florida, just last year.

Here are the full final table payouts:

1st: Tommy Vedes – $779,520 (includes $25,500 WPT World Championship seat)
2nd: John Dolan – $459,360
3rd: Joe Serock – $306,240
4th: Craig Bergeron – $212,976
5th: Sharon Levin – $158,688
6th: Kyle Bowker – $122,496

Tune in next Sunday at 8pm and 11pm local time on FSN as World Poker Tour heads just a little further north to Jacksonville, Florida, for WPT Jacksonville BestBet Open and what is sure to be another impressive turnout for a poker tournament in the state of Florida.
