Last night at 8pm and 11pm on FSN, the first installment of the $10,000 buy-in WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star event saw the field play down from the 364 that entered to the six who would make up the final table. Among those six were two amateurs – Moon Kim and Ubaid Habib – and four professionals – Erik Cajelais, Joe Elpayaa, Joe Serock and Andrew Badecker – all gunning for the $960,900 first-place prize.

When all was said and done, it was breakout night for the amateur Moon Kim as he took on the pros at the table and his fellow hobbyist as well. Check out the videos below to see a sample of the hands he played against opponents at this final table:

Here are the chip counts for the final table participants as the episode ended:

Moon Kim – 3,140,000
Ubaid Habib – 2,875,000
Erik Cajelais – 2,005,000
Joe Elpayaa – 1,275,000
Joe Serock – 955,000
Andrew Badecker – 670,000

Make sure to tune in next Sunday at 8pm and 11pm to see if the amateurs can keep up their domination of the pros at WPT Bay 101 final table and take home the lion’s share of the $3,458,000 prizepool.
