The WPT World Championship is just days away, and the field keeps getting bigger and better.
As one of poker’s premier events, World Poker Tour’s season finale consistently draws the game’s most talented players to Bellagio each May. This year’s Main Event, starting at 12pm PT on Saturday, May 19, is no exception as a large number of famous players have already confirmed their attendance in this $25,000 + $500 tournament.
Recent additions to this year’s star-studded field include Sam Trickett, Jake Cody, Joseph Cheong, and Jonathan Duhamel. These players will join an impressive group of professionals and amateurs, including 20 Season X champions, defending champion Scott Seiver (pictured above), and WPT Player of Year rivals Will “The Thrill” Failla and Joe Serock all competing for the title and winner’s share of a massive prize pool.
If you’re in Vegas, you can stop by the Bellagio and watch the action alongside some of the most beautiful women in town at the Royal Flush Girls Social Bar. If you’re not in town, you can follow all of the tournament action through WPT Live Updates and watch the final table in real time with WPT Live Streaming, starting at 4:30pm PT on Saturday, May 26.
Adding to the excitement of this incredible week is the WPT Super High Roller which, for the first time, will be televised as a three-episode, standalone event. This exclusive tournament runs from May 23 – 25 and features a $100,000 buy-in with the option to re-enter. WPT Live Streaming will broadcast the final table on Friday, May 25 starting at 4:30pm PT.
