For the past ten years, players from around the globe have competed for the honor of becoming a World Poker Tour Champion. Many have tried, but few have succeeded. At the start of WPT Season X, World Poker Tour unveiled the WPT Champions Club and the towering WPT Champions Cup to commemorate all past and future WPT Champions. With the WPT World Championship looming, WPT Season X is quickly coming to a close, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still some opportunities left to win your way into the WPT Champions Club. In fact, there are four of them:

1. WPT Vienna: Apr 10 – 15, 2012 at Montesino in Vienna, Austria.
2. Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown: Apr 18 – 23, 2012 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
3. WPT Jacksonville BestBet Open: Apr 27 – May 2, 2012 at BestBet Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida.
4. WPT World Championship: May 19 – 26, 2012 at Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada

Only skill and determination can lead you into poker’s premier circle, the WPT Champions Club. You cannot buy your way in, you must earn the right and these events are how you do it. Win one of them and you become a lifelong member of the WPT Champions Club. All WPT Champions receive exclusive World Poker Tour benefits and special treatment at WPT events. Entrance guarantees poker immortality, and while accolades and cash can come and go, each member’s legacy is permanently etched onto the venerable WPT Champions Cup.

Here are the benefits of WPT Champions Club membership:

To get entry into these events, you don’t have to have the bankroll of a high roller. Qualifier satellites are available both online and in casinos for every stop on World Poker Tour’s schedule. ClubWPT just gave away a seat at the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown (April 18 – 23) and is set to run their next WPT Seat tournament on April 1 for WPT Jacksonville BestBet Open (April 27 – May 2). ClubWPT will also be holding a HUGE tournament on April 15 for entry into the $25,000 WPT World Championship (May 19 – 26). Visit ClubWPT.com for more information.

You can also head down to the host casino of a WPT Main Event and enter into their satellites. This provides fantastic daily opportunities for local players to win their way onto the prestigious World Poker Tour. Many famous poker professionals will also play in these satellites in the run-up to the Main Event, so you many even be seated next to a WPT Champion.

Another compelling way to get onto the World Poker Tour is through WPT Satellite Partner casinos. Harlow’s Casino recently signed on as a new WPT Satellite Partner and offers a variety of options to qualify for WPT tournaments. For as little as $30, players can participate in a WPT Satellite program. Harlow’s Casino is located in Greenville, Mississippi and if you happen to live within driving distance, make sure to stop by. For more information, call the Poker Room at Harlow’s Casino at (662) 335-9797.

Of the thousands upon thousands of players who have competed on the World Poker Tour, only 150 can call themselves WPT Champions. The world’s greatest players, from Daniel Negreanu to Phil Ivey to Carlos Mortensen to Doyle Brunson, all hold this distinction. The towering WPT Champions Cup was created to compliment the legacy and prestige of this honor and now it’s your turn.
