Itsvan Briski Wins WPT® Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open Championship for $647,300

Itsvan Briski claims huge payday by winning the $3,500 buy-in WPT Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open.

Hollywood, FL (Nov. 29, 2023) Itsvan Briski walked away as the 2023 WPT® Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open Champion Wednesday evening. The 30-year-old from Hungary secured his first World Poker Tour® title, a spot on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup and the top payout of $647,300, which includes a $10,400 seat to the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.

“It’s amazing to be a WPT Champion,” said Briski following his win. “I ran really well in the tournament. I made it all the way and I’m very happy.”

A total of 1,447 entrants from two starting flights – 655 from Day 1A and 792 from Day 1B – made up the $3,500 buy-in Championship event at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. The field generated a prizepool of $4,630,400, which paid out the top 181 finishers.

“It was great to witness another strong field at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, our longstanding and prominent casino partner.” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “A big congratulations to Itsvan Briski for his Championship triumph.”

Rayan Chamas finished as the runner-up, earning a payout of $600,000. Busting out ahead of Chamas was Sandy Sanchez (3rd place – $366,500), Fred Goldberg (4th place – $274,000), Matt Bond (5th place – $206,900) and rounding out the final table was WPT Champion Darryll Fish (6th place – $157,800).

Other notable players to cash were 2022 WPT Player of the Year Chad Eveslage (19th place), three-time WPT Champion Anthony Zinno (47th place), Yuval Bronshtein (57th place), three-time WPT Champion Alex Foxen (59th place), WPT Champion Chance Kornuth (69th place), and three-time WPT Champion Brian Altman (72nd place).

This marks the final WPT Championship stop before heading to Las Vegas for the season-end finale, the WPT World Championship festival at Wynn Las Vegas. The festival began today and runs till Dec. 23, headlined by the $10,400 World Championship event from Dec. 12-21.
