Las Vegas, NV (May 26, 2023) Jared Jaffee is the newest WPT® Choctaw Champion. Jaffee defeated Dojie Ignacio heads up to claim his second World Poker Tour® title and the top prize of $400,740, which includes a seat in the 2023 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.

“It’s been too long (since winning my first WPT Title) I guess they weren’t lying when they said if you wait a little longer it will be a little sweeter,” Jaffee said. “This is definitely the best feeling I’ve had winning a poker tournament so far.”

Jaffee’s win marks the completion of the eighth installment of WPT Choctaw. The $3,800 buy-in tournament drew a field of 612 entries, generating a prize pool of $2,142,000, which paid out the top 77 finishers.

“As WPT Choctaw reaches an exciting conclusion, I would like to thank all that helped put on this event from start to finish,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “What a tremendous achievement by Jared Jaffee, now a two-time member of the WPT Champions Club.”
