PMU.fr WPT National Cannes concluded after 4 days of great poker. For its third year, Casino Le Croisette created its biggest ever WPT field with 391 entries and a prizepool of over €400,000.
Winner, Laurent Polito previously won WPT National Paris in 2013 and claimed his second WPT National title after beating Pierre Calamusa in the heads up battle.
WPT National Cannes 3rd place went to Team PMU Pro Erwan Pecheux who has reached his third WPT National French final table after being runner up in both Paris and Cannes last year.
45 players made it in the money with the Final Table standings below:
- Laurent Polito – 86 000 euros
- Pierre Calamusa – 60 000 euros
- Erwann Pecheux – 40 000 euros – Team Pro PMU
- Pierre Picherit – 29 000 euros
- Hyacinthe Bonnin – 22 000 euros
- Gaëtan Belliot– 18 000 euros
- Kamel Tafer – 14 500 euros
- Aurélien Soutchkov – 11 200 euros
Also in attendance at the beautiful Le Croisette Casino Cannes was Rap legend and 2012 WPT National Cannes Champion Bruno Lopes, French footballer Jerome Rothen, well known French sports journalist Lionel Rosso and famous television presenter Cyril Hanouna.
The WPT National Cannes High Roller had 70 entries with a prizepool of over €130,000. Last year’s WPT National Cannes and WPT Champion Club member, Guillaume Darcourt was victorious claiming first price of over €40,000.
