On January 19, 2020, I received the huge honour of being inducted into the Australian Poker Hall of Fame, alongside Aussie legends of the game like Joseph Hachem, Jeff Lisandro, Tony G, and Danny McDonagh.
I will let the video below speak for how I feel about it, as I was pretty choked up for words and I still am today. I’ve been trying to find words for this blog post for a week and just haven’t been able to. As I say in the video, I truly do have great respect and appreciation for this game and it has been a real privilege to show it off to the rest of the world.
We can’t do anything completely on our own without someone else believing in us and giving us a chance at some point along the way. So having my parents there, along with some of my WPT family and old friends who were first responsible for introducing me to poker in the first place, made it all the more special.
