Play has concluded for the day on Monday at partypoker WPT UK at Dusk Till Dawn (DTD), and of the 94 entries, 40 players have plastic bags full of chips stowed away in readiness for Day 2. On top of the chip counts is the Spanish wonder Arian Mateos with 181,200. Other top stacks include Ian Simpson (167,900), Robert Smith (147,000), and Morten Mortensen (128,900).

Fans of poker will recognise the names of WPT Champions Club member Marvin Rettenmaier (63,600), Poker Hall of Famer Mike Sexton (61,800), and David Peters (112,900) all three of whom made it through to Day 2.

Amongst those who were not so fortunate were Jack Salter, Sam Trickett, and WPT Champions Club members Dominik Nitsche and Michael Mizrachi, with Day 1A proving to be a rather expensive outlay for Jon Spinks and Simon Higgins, who despite firing two bullets, ended the day with nothing to show for their efforts except the insides of a balloon.

Day 1B kicks off at 1pm (GMT) on Wednesday, and everyone who busted on Day 1A can reenter, as can anyone who ended the day with chips but feels they can do a little better.
