Day 2 of the partypoker World Poker Tour UK £3,000 Main Event at Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) began with 191 hopefuls, 21 of which registered at the last minute to sit behind a 30-big blind stack. After six levels of play 51 remain.

The man leading that motley crew is once again Adrian Mateos with 560,500. You may remember that Mateos was the chip leader at the end of Day 1A. Hanging onto his coat tails are Ben Warrington (527,000), and Christos Kyprianou (525,500)

Other notables still in with a chance of winning a WPT title are WPT Champions Club members Jake Cody (182,500) and Chris Moorman (125,000), and David Peters 403,500.

Players who were less fortunate include WPT Champions Club members Marvin Rettenmaier, Michael Mizrachi, Roberto Romanello, Dave Ulliot, Chino Rheem and Julian Thomas. Poker Hall of Famer and WPT commentator Mike Sexton also failed to make it through to Day 3.

One man who had a happy day was the aforementioned Moorman. Widely recognised at the greatest online tournament player ever to have lived, Moorman flopped a Royal Flush, in a hand against Victor Ilyukhin, winning the Royal Caribbean International® Royal Flush bonus.

Play will resume at 1 p.m. (GMT) on Friday, where only 45 players will make the money. The plan is to try and get down to 24 players so make sure you return to WorldPokerTour.com for the continuing coverage of all the action as we head to the deep end of the tournament.
