Four days of poker action have come to an end at Aspers Casino Stratford City Westfield, and the newest WPT National Champion is Irina Nikolaidi. Nikolaidi defeated Simon Green heads up, earning £25,130. Green walked away with £17,400 for his efforts.

The UK-based casino hosted the partypoker WPT National London, paying out £120,060, and partypoker pro Tony Dunst was in the UK capital to take his seat amongst the 667 entries.

The £600 Main Event was split into three £200 flights. Players had the option to buy-in to one, two, or all three of the Day 1 flights. At the end of each flight, chips were bagged and moved forward to Day 2. All chips from each flight were accumulated to give players their total starting stack for Day 2.

Final Table Payouts

Guests experienced the players’ lounge, which included games and giveaways around the featured ‘poker in the fast lane,’ partypoker-branded scale-etrix table. Formula 1 presenter Simon Lazenby took on partypoker pro Tony Dunst plus online qualifiers for the fastest lap.

Despite the affordable buy-in, there were several big name professional players competing in London. Hot off of his WSOP Main Event cash was Charles Chattha, and also in attendance were WPT Champions Club members James Dempsey and Surinder Sunar, WSOP Finalist James Akenhead, and well-known UK players Sin Melin and Steve Watts.

Players were treated to a night to remember at the VIP party hosted at Aspers Sky Bar. All Main Event players enjoyed complimentary drinks and a set from well known talent, DJ Spoony. Guests also took part in dance competitions to win partypoker Monster headphones and signed merchandise.
