During Day 2 of WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown, World Poker Tour hosted the Royal Flush Girls Beach Volleyball Challenge. Vince Van Patten, Tony Dunst, a few poker pros and fans joined the action for a fun game in the sun.

Royal Flush Girls Angelique Velez and Jeannie Duffy headed the purple team, which included Kazu Oshima who had just busted from the WPT Main Event. Kazu has definitely played volleyball before and turned out to be a force on the beach.

Tugba Ercan and Danielle Ruiz led the yellow team, along with guest WPT Anchor Marianela Pereyra and poker pro Jonathan Aguiar. The Royal Flush Girl with the most volleyball experience was Danielle Ruiz, who used to play in high school. However, Tugba, Angelique and Jeannie each held their own, making some fantastic shots and dives in the sand.

The competition turned intense as the games progressed, with everyone battling in good spirits. While the yellow team took the lead multiple times, in the end they succumbed to the skills of Kazu, Vince, Tony, Angelique and Jeannie. With the victory, purple claimed bragging rights and the Royal Flush Girls Beach Volleyball Challenge trophy.

WPT TV cameras were on hand throughout the match filming for the WPT televised broadcast. Make sure to catch this special World Poker Tour activity on Fox Sports Net (FSN). New episodes air every Sunday night at 8:00pm and 11:00pm local time. The Seminole Hard Rock Showdown tournament premieres August 5 (Part I), August 12 (Part II) and August 19 (Part III).
