With a population of just over 800 people, Rozvadov is not only a very small town, but is one of the most rural poker stops in the world. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t much on offer for visitors to the area – quite the opposite in fact.

King’s Casino

Boasting the largest poker room in Europe, King’s Casino is the hub of entertainment in Rozvadov – which made it a natural choice for one of the locations on the WPT Main Tour.

With a total gaming space of 1,800 m2 on offer – it is a gambling paradise. Roulette, Blackjack and Slots are a few of the most popular games available to play here.

Restaurants

There are several highly rated restaurants in the area. Most of them are informal but offer great local food at affordable prices. Myslivna Rozvadov, Restaurace Baileys and Švejk Restaurant come with the highest recommendations in the area and are all within a couple of kilometres of King’s Casino.

Note: Be prepared to bring cash with you as paying by card is not always an option.

Hire a car

To get a taste of the best in and around the area, hiring a car is a must.

Přimda (10 mins by car)

The picturesque town of Přimda is just a stone’s throw from King’s Casino. With almost double the population, there is a little more on offer in terms of history and culture.

The highlights of a trip there are two historical buildings: Přimda Castle; and Kostel svaté Apoleny (a church). Both buildings are technically ruins, but with most of the original structures still intact, they are well worth a look.

There is also the Oberpfälzer wald, which is an extensive protected woodland area, dotted with meadows. Nature trails & cycling paths make it the perfect place to explore the great outdoors.

Ski Areál Přimda does what it says on the tin. A ski-resort just ten minutes from the casino…we couldn’t think of a better way to let off some steam between poker sessions.

Český les (30 mins by car)

This beautiful national forest is perfect for nature lovers, with undeveloped views all around. Visitors generally agree that the forest doesn’t attract too many tourists, making it the perfect spot for those wanting to take a breather from the excitement of the poker tables.
