Day 1B in the books at the WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open, and roughly 385 players from this flight of 745 entries have advanced to Day 2. Along with the 162 survivors from Day 1A, about 550 will return Tuesday along with however many last-minute players enter before Day 2 begins. The chipleader at the end of play tonight is Norman Michalek with 208,000. Other big stacks were bagged up by Abraham Aboukhalil (188,900), Cong Pham (187,500), and David Moreno (181,400).

Registration remains open until the start of Day 2. With more than 1,100 entries thus far, the Season XIV WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open is already the 10th largest WPT Main Tour event in history.

A plethora of notables will be returning for Day 2, including Jamie Kerstetter, Cate Hall, Christian Harder, Paul Volpe, Ray Qartomy, Greg Merson, Andy Philachack, Ryan Riess, Matt Glantz, Matt Stout, and Jeff Madsen. Also advancing were Champions Club members Darren Elias, James Calderaro, Keven Stammen, Matt Waxman, Taylor von Kriegenbergh, Kevin Eyster, and defending WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open champion Aaron Mermselstein.
