Daniel Maor finished atop the field of advancing players in the third and final starting flight of the Season XV partypoker.net World Poker Tour® Main Event from Playground Poker Club. He bagged up 179,700 in chips, but that will be the smallest of the chip leaders from the three starting flights — Eric Afriat (214,500) and David Quang (196,100).

With all of the starting flights completed, the field size tallied in at 648, generating a prize pool of CAD $2,199,960 ($1,641,761). Of that, the winner was set to receive CAD $425,980 ($317,896), which includes a $15,000 seat into the season-ending WPT Tournament of Champions.

Others to advance to Day 2 from Sunday’s action included Shyam Srinivasan (161,000), Simon Charette (157,300), and Chris McClung (156,900).

Along with the winner taking the lion’s share of the prize pool, the top 81 spots were set to reach the money, with a min-cash worth CAD $6,100 ($4,552).

Day 2 will begin on Monday at 12 p.m. local time from Playground Poker Club, and you can follow coverage right here on WPT.com.
