The first day of play in the Season XV partypoker World Poker Tour® €3,300 Main Event took place on Friday at the Grandior Hotel Prague in the Czech Republic. The tournament attracted 69 entries for the first of two starting flights, with 36 surviving to Day 2. Finishing in the lead was the only man to bag more than 200,000 in chips, Christian Egues, with 206,700 in his end-of-day stack.

Thomas Lefort (162,100), Jason Wheeler (156,800), Ivan Banic (140,800), and Anton Petrov (135,700) rounded out the top five on the leaderboard.

Just outside of the top five was Maxim Lykov with 86,000, and then Vojtech Ruzicka (48,700), Season XIV Hublot WPT® Player of the Year Mike Shariati (27,000), and partypoker ambassador Jackie Glazier (25,800) were scattered throughout the rest of the rankings.

Martin Staszko and Martin Kabrhel, both notable Czech players, were eliminated on the day. Joel Sart was also eliminated from Day 1a.
