Following last year’s successful event with more than 600 entries, Casino di San Remo will again host the Gioco Digitale WPT National San Remo. Taking place from Oct. 3-10, 2016, the Italian seaside resort will be booming with poker action at a festival that includes a €1,000 Main Event and €2,000 High Roller.

The Gioco Digitale WPT National San Remo €1,000 Main Event boasts a €300,000 guarantee and will run Oct. 7-10. The four-day event has two starting days, and players are allowed one re-entry per starting flight. Late registration will close at the beginning of Day 2 on Oct. 9.

The €2,000 High Roller will run Oct. 9-10, and players will be allowed one re-entry with late registration open until the start of Day 2.

Also on offer will be several side events, ranging in buy-ins from €70 to €550 and including pot-limit Omaha and H.O.R.S.E. Both €230 Pot-Limit Omaha and €300 H.O.R.S.E. events will take place on Oct. 8, and Oct. 9 will feature a €220 Turbo Bounty and the start of a two-day €500 Big Stack.

Casino di San Remo is a unique venue set on the beautiful Italian Riviera. It opened in the early 1900s and features exceptional heritage from French architect Eugène Ferret. The casino offers 500 slot machines in six different rooms and table games hosted on a spacious first floor of the casino. The Sanctis Room is dedicated poker.

Playing the Gioco Digitale WPT National San Remo festival offers a great opportunity for players to enjoy the magnificent seaside resort, along with attractions such as the Old Bussana, the Villa Nobel, La Pigna, Tre Ponti, Piazza Bresca, or the Parocchia Santa Maria degli Angeli. Moreover, in a city globally renowned by bicycle aficionados, being in San Remo cannot be fully experienced if players don’t try to bike the “Pista Clabile Area 24.”

San Remo is also known for its great bars around the city, such as the Karma Lounge Bar or Dolce e Salato. However, players can always ask our friendly Tournament Director, Christian Scalzi, for more tips on his home town when they arrive. He’d be happy to assist.

The casino already has nearly 100 players qualified for the Gioco Digitale WPT National San Remo Main Event through live satellites and many more are to be expected. Plus, Gioco Digital is running online qualifications for the Main Event, starting as low as €0.
