Los Angeles, CA (January 19, 2018) – World Poker Tour® today announced a new addition to Season XVI of the WPT®, with WPT Amsterdam taking place April 13-21, 2018, at Holland Casino Amsterdam.
The festival marks the fourth consecutive season of the World Poker Tour in the Netherlands, and the WPT Amsterdam €3,300 Main Event is scheduled for April 16-20.
Building off the momentum of last year, the WPT Amsterdam festival will once again be held in partnership with WPTDeepStacks™. The WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam €1,500 Main Event kicks off the Season XVI WPT Amsterdam festival and runs April 13-16.

The last WPT Amsterdam festival, that debuted the first European season for WPTDeepStacks, attracted nearly 1,200 players to the felt. At last year’s festival, Thijs Menco won the title in the WPTDeepStacks Amsterdam Main Event, earning €73,239, and Daniel Daniyar scored first place in the WPT Amsterdam Main Event for €152,600.
More events in Europe for both the World Poker Tour and WPTDeepStacks will be announced soon.
