Las Vegas, NV (July 15, 2015) – Season 2 of WPT Alpha8™, the World Poker Tour®’s series of super high-roller tournaments with buy-ins starting at $100,000, premieres on July 20 at 10 pm ET / 7 pm PT on Fox Sports 1. Tune in as poker’s most talented professionals compete alongside a rotating cast of some of the world’s wealthiest poker enthusiasts for millions of dollars in prize money.
The action begins at Royal Beach Casino and Christophe Harbour on the beautiful island of St. Kitts, and then travels to the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. WPT Alpha8 co-host Olivier Busquet steps out of the booth to compete with his peers in St. Kitts, and Raw Deal host Tony Dunst joins Ali Nejad in the Skybox to analyze the action. On location, anchor Lynn Gilmartin gives viewers an exclusive look into the lives of some of the world’s top poker players and those who live to compete against them at nosebleed stakes.

Before the debut on Fox Sports 1 on July 20, Fox Sports 2 will air a seven-hour marathon from Season 1 of WPT Alpha8. Starting at 2 pm ET / 11 am PT on July 20th, fans will enjoy four episodes of WPT Alpha8 London and three from WPT Alpha8 Johannesburg. At 9 pm ET / 6 pm PT the finale of the World Poker Tour’s Season XIII WPT Fallsview Poker Classic will debut on FOX Sports 2, and at the conclusion of the episode, Season 2 of WPT Alpha8 will premiere on FOX Sports 1.
