World Poker Tour action hits both the felt and the airwaves over the next week for events that are taking place at the prestigious Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
On the TV front, the inaugural WPT Alpha8 season continues with the second episode of WPT Alpha8 Florida, which airs on Sunday night at 9pm ET/6pm PT on Fox Sports 1. While WPT Alhpa8 Florida is airing on Fox Sports 1, cameras get set to roll in South Florida for the final event of WPT Season XI before the World Championship event in Atlantic City later this month. The $3,500 buy-in WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown kicks off on Thursday, April 10, and will feature a $5 million guarantee along with three starting days and unlimited re-entries up until the start of level 7 with an option for same day re-entries. Events at Seminole Hard Rock always draw some of the biggest names in poker, especially with a guarantee of this amount, and this tournament looks to be no different.
