Congratulations to Stephen Diamantas, winner of the $1,650 WPT Regional Florida Winter Tampa Bay Open at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Diamantas, a professional poker player from Tampa Bay, called the $121,900 first-place prize his “biggest tournament score by long shot,” adding that he and his family are “going to have good Christmas.”
The event, which attracted a total of 301 entrants, generated a total prize pool of $451,500 and featured a star-studded final table including David Tuthill, Allen Kessler, Cord Garcia, and Ryan Sponaugle.
World Poker Tour returns to Florida in February 2014 for the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open at the Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek.
