Vanessa Rousso put on a poker clinic at the WPT Foundation Ladies’ Night Invitational where she quickly built an early lead at the final table, and stayed out front all the way to the tournament’s last hand where she claimed victory over Jessica Dawley after a heated heads-up battle.
For her efforts, Vanessa earned a $25,500 entry to the WPT World Championship and $6,250 for her charity, National Council for Research on Women (NCRW). Dawley earned $5,000 for her charity, the Domestic Violence Project of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
