Los Angeles, CA (December 3, 2021) – Fresh off of another highly successful tour stop at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, the World Poker Tour® is returning for the first event of Season XX of the WPT® with the Lucky Hearts Poker Open in January.
The WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open runs Jan. 13 through Jan. 26 and features a $3,500 buy-in championship event with a $2 million guaranteed prize pool. This is the seventh time LHPO has been a WPT Main Tour stop. The 2021 event signaled a return to action for the World Poker Tour as Ilyas Muradi topped a 1,573 entry field to win $620,000 and engrave his name on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.

On Wednesday, Gediminas Uselis won the WPT Seminole Rock ’N’ Roll Poker Open after navigating his way through 1,566 entries in what turned out to be the largest WPT RRPO ever. The five largest live fields in WPT main tour history have all come from events at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood. The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in April drew a record-setting 2,482 entries.

All Season XX final tables will be livestreamed on World Poker Tour channels with the Lucky Hearts Poker Open slated to be the first on January 26. Information on other Season XX events and festivities will be announced in the coming weeks.
