Fallsview Casino Resort Hosts Four-Day, CAD $5,000 Buy-In WPT Main Tour Event

Los Angeles, CA (January 14, 2015) — For a second consecutive season, the World Poker Tour® returns to Fallsview Casino Resort for the CAD $5,000 buy-in WPT® Fallsview Poker Classic from February 13-16. Unlike in Season XII, where Matthew Lapossie topped a field of nearly 400 entrants to win more than CAD $300,000, this year’s event will be televised on FSN, allowing the WPT production team to showcase the dramatic views of Niagara Falls and thrilling poker action at one of the season’s most highly anticipated stops.
The WPT Fallsview Poker Classic caps off a great week of poker action, featuring three great side events and a plethora of live satellites. The week begins on February 7 with a CAD $1,100 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with two starting days, followed by a CAD $2,500 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with two starting days beginning on February 10. Players who are unfortunately eliminated from the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic will be able to compete in a two-day, CAD $1,500 buy-in shootout tournament on February 14.
Live satellites featuring buy-ins ranging from CAD $125 – CAD $1,050 are running daily at Fallsview Casino Resort. You can also qualify for the WPT Fallsview Poker Classic in a CAD $550 buy-in super satellite on February 12 at 3 p.m.
Players can qualify online exclusively at partypoker.net. The two-seat guaranteed WPT Fallsview Poker Classic Final takes place on Sunday, February 9 at 20:35 p.m. ET.
