Irvine, CA (February 23, 2023) Season XXI of the World Poker Tour® is heating up, and the second half of the schedule includes returning Main Tour and Prime stops as well as a brand-new locale to add to the growing list of international destinations that have hosted a WPT® event.

“As we build out the remainder of the schedule for Season XXI of the World Poker Tour, we are happy to be returning to some familiar WPT hosts, while we also welcome a first-ever stop in Liechtenstein, continuing our pledge to bring poker to loyal players around the globe,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska.

The Main Tour returns for the second half of 2023 with WPT Australia, which runs September 22 – 27. In 2022, the inaugural WPT Australia $5,400 AUD main event set records in the state of Queensland. The marquee event, subject to regulator approval, returns with an additional day in the structure, as well as an increased buy-in to AUD $8,000. The final table of this event will be livestreamed on WPT YouTube and Twitch channels.

Florida takes center stage in November with a pair of Main Tour stops. First up is the WPT bestbet Scramble running November 10 – 14 at bestbet Jacksonville. The festival last ran in 2019. Now, bestbet makes its WPT return with a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em main event equipped with a livestreamed final table.

From there the WPT moves to Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood for the WPT Seminole Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker Open November 24 – 29, which features a $3,500 buy-in main event. Seminole Hard Rock has been a WPT partner since 2011 and boasts eight of the ten largest fields in WPT history.

The latter half of Season XXI kicks off with two Prime stops in August. The first is a new location and casino partner for WPT. WPT Prime Aix-en-Provence is set for August 3 – 6 at Pasino Grand in the south of France. The second is WPT Prime Taiwan in Taipei on August 17 – 21, returning after an incredible turnout in 2022.

The Grand Casino LI AG will host the first WPT stop in Liechtenstein with a WPT Prime event from September 8 – 11. The schedule is anchored by the CHF 1,100 buy-in WPT Prime main event, which boasts a CHF 1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The end of September brings WPT Prime Madrid from September 28 – October 1. After a successful debut in 2022, the festival returns to Casino Gran Via with an €1,100 buy-in main event.

Season XXI will culminate with the 2023 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. Details about this event will be shared in the coming weeks.
