The second and final day of play for the inaugural World Poker Tour Alpha8 event is underway and, with the elimination of Bill Perkins, the official final table of WPT Alpha8 Florida has been set. Matt Glantz – pictured above – will enjoy the chip lead when play resumes after an hour break for the players.

Here’s a breakdown of the chip counts as we head into that final table:

Seat 1: Daniel Alaei – 293,500 (59 bb)
Seat 2: Isaac Haxton – 276,000 (55 bb)
Seat 3: Jeff Gross – 120,500 (24 bb)
Seat 4: Steven Silverman – 392,500 (79 bb)
Seat 5: Joseph Cheong -100,000 (20 bb)
Seat 6: JC Tran – 94,000 (19 bb)
Seat 7: Jason Mercier – 363,500 (73 bb)
Seat 8: Matt Glantz – 441,500 (88 bb)

The event saw a grand total of 21 entries, three of them re-entries. That field was whittled down to the unofficial final table of nine on the first day of play and those nine started this morning primed and ready to go to war on the felt for the title and $891,660 in first-place prize money.
